Sunita Ahuja Says Son Yashvardhan Has Amitabh Bachchan’s Personality And Dharmendra’s Looks; ‘I Am So Happy’

As Govinda and Sunita Ahuja’s son Yashvardhan Ahuja prepares for his Bollywood debut, his mother has shared an interesting story about her pregnancy and the hopes she had for her child. In a recent conversation, Sunita revealed that she often looked at photos of veteran actors Amitabh Bachchan and Dharmendra while expecting Yashvardhan. She now believes that her son reflects qualities of both screen legends.

Speaking about her admiration for Amitabh Bachchan, Sunita said, “Mere fav hero hain voh. Mera beta jab pet main tha toh maine do hi logon ka photo dekha tha, ek Dharam ji, Amit ji. Yashvardhan ka personality Amit ji jaise hogaya hai aur shakal Dharam ji jaisi, I am so happy.”

Sunita also spoke about traditional beliefs associated with pregnancy. Recalling advice given to expectant mothers in earlier times, she said, “We were told to watch Ramayana because the child listens while in the mother's womb. So my mother used to put Ramayana on TV whenever there was an eclipse. But today's kids won't listen to all of this.”

Yashvardhan is now gearing up for his much-awaited Bollywood launch. Reports suggest that he will be seen in filmmaker Sajid Khan’s upcoming project, tentatively titled Hundred. The film also stars Nitanshi Goel and has already gone on floors.

Sunita recently revealed that her son’s journey into the film industry was not easy. Despite being Govinda’s son, Yashvardhan reportedly went through more than 90 auditions before landing his debut role. Before stepping in front of the camera, he worked as an assistant director on films such as Dishoom and Baaghi. His dance video with Rasha Thadani had also gone viral, earning praise from viewers for his expressions and dance moves.
